The quilted construction of the wool fabric allows body warmth to be trapped between the layers thus insulating your equine partner while still being a light rug so as not to weigh them down. Fits perfectly over our cotton rugs and combos, or worn on its own having a fully lined neck and shoulders as well as the super comfortable padded neck and wither panel and elastic chest strap.
